My name is Nathalie Sousa, editor-in-chief of Casa de Lola – House of Cool. I was made in Rio de Janeiro, raised in the beautiful northeast coast of Brazil (Recife) and have been pursuing and living the American Dream since 1999. After earning a Journalism degree from the University of West Florida, a short stint in the Big Apple and many adventures across the good ol’ U.S. of A, I decided to settle in the picturesque region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Here, I spend my days with my small but dear family: my musician boyfriend and our beautiful daughter Lola, a 3-year-old Weimaraner.
Casa de Lola emerged around 2010 as a place where my friends and I could share our interests and everyday life inspirations with the world. Our posts reflect our insatiable curiosity and appreciation for the beautiful, creative, fashionable, interesting and delicious. Although the blog is now more focused on my personal experiences, Casa de Lola’s original team of collaborators is still active. I don’t claim to be an expert in anything, but I am a true lover of all things cool.
