Best Lunch Experience in Wilkes Barre

By Nathalie Sousa-

Canteen 900 is hands down my favorite lunch spot in Wilkes Barre. Last week alone I visited it twice (since my Yoga studio is at the same building) and I totally love and recommend it.

Besides being big, airy and bright, Canteen also has great food and outstanding service. Fresh made juices; smoothies, fun salads, sandwiches, soups and amazing coffee are some of the things you’ll find there. Other A+ details are: awesome music (perfect volume), funky décor, stylish waitstaff and outside seating.

My choices this time were: white bean and kale soup for starters (healthy and very tasty!) followed by a spicy crispy chicken sandwich with yummy homemade potato chips and a latte (served in a giant mug). As always everything was fresh and tasty!

The next morning I stopped by again, this time for breakfast, and I tried the scrambled eggs with goat cheese and truffle oil- divine!

If you’re around NEPA and haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and stop by Canteen 900 for breakfast or lunch, you won’t be let down!
