Aubrey Plaza stars as Darius, a magazine intern who along with another intern and a staff writer was assigned to find out who placed a classified ad seeking a companion for time travel. This wacky “sci-fish” romantic comedy is full of heart and wit.

A male stripper teaches a younger performer how to party, pick up women, and make easy money. Channing Tatum plays a stripper. Need I say more?

4. Beasts of The Southern Wild

In this “magical” tale, Hushpuppy, a little girl raised in the Southern wilderness by her ailing father, faces environmental changes that release an army of prehistoric creatures called aurochs as she leaves her home in search of her mother. This critics’ darling and winner of the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize and the prestigious Camera D’or in Cannes is bound to enchant audiences this summer.

5. The Dark Knight Rises

This is the most anticipated movie event of the summer, director Chris Nolan’s conclusion to the Dark Knight series, Batman returns to protect Gotham, a city that has branded him an enemy. In this installment, he crosses paths with the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a dangerous crusader determined to destroy Batman’s legacy.
