To celebrate charity: water’s 5th anniversary today, the organization’s staff has compiled a series of 250 cool videos thanking those who have supported its cause throughout the years. (watch here)
For those not familiar with them, charity: water is a non-profit organization that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Every dollar raised in public donations goes directly to fund those projects.
The organization is very close to my heart as I saw its birth five years ago. I had the pleasure to meet Scott Harrison, the organization’s founder, when I used to work in New York City club where he previously worked as a promoter. His desire to change his lifestyle led him to change the lives of millions. His success and work inspire me to seek and support projects that make a difference.
Today is also Scott’s 36th birthday. I would like to give a shout out to this extraordinary soul who is leaving his mark in this world through action. His efforts have helped to bring clean and safe water to over 2 million people since 2005.
Happy Birthday, dear Scott! Your commitment to social change have inspired and changed the lives of many. Keep up the great work and many blessings to you and to Charity: water on this special day.
